Drunken Fist Workshop
Drunken Fist Workshops are opportunities to share demonstrations and discussions on a wide array of martial arts topics. The workshops use a format that turns the traditional workshop model on its head. They are facilitated by David Bordeaux and Justin Plavic. With guidance from the facilitators, the participants co-create and set the agenda around what matters deeply to them.
David and Justin will have only a few sessions set prior to the workshop. Short breakout sessions will run throughout the day and are decided on and presented by participants. Every participant is invited to propose, create, and run breakout sessions themselves. This enables peer-to-peer learning, collaboration, and diverse session types and topics.
Every Drunken Fist Workshop is unique, as this format allows for a wider range of topics to be covered. It fosters organic opportunities to learn in a rich, inclusive environment, making for an energizing exchange of ideas, experiences, and discoveries.
The Drunken Fist workshops are all about cross-style martial arts collaboration. We believe holistic learning can only happen when all voices are brought to the table. If you’re interested in making a difference in your martial arts training, then there’s a place for you at a Drunken Fist Workshop.
After the workshop, David and Justin will record a live episode of the podcast.
